Each diamond undergoes a journey that starts with ethically sourced procurement and progresses through precise laser cutting and polishing. Rough Procurement
The journey begins with rough procurement. We source these diamonds from reputable suppliers, conducting thorough evaluations to guarantee their quality. This meticulous selection process ensures each stone meets our high standards.
Galaxy Scan
Each diamond undergoes a high-tech analysis using advanced scanning technology like Galaxee. This scan captures detailed images of the stone's internal structure, revealing inclusions, cracks, and other features. A 3D model is generated for further planning.
Sarine Planning
Utilizing data from the Galaxee scan, we map out the optimal cutting strategy using the Sarine software. This software analyzes various options to maximize the diamond's value and minimize waste. We then determine the ideal cut, facets, and dimensions for the final polished diamond.
Laser Sawing
With the plan in place, the rough diamond is precisely cut into smaller pieces using a laser saw. Guided by the software's instructions, the laser ensures clean and accurate cuts, preparing the diamond for the next stage.
Bruting
For diamonds destined to become round brilliants, bruting is a crucial step. Here, the sawn diamond is placed in a bruting machine and shaped into a round form using a specialized wheel. This process ensures a smooth and rounded girdle.
Polishing
The final stage brings the diamond to life. The polishing process includes multiple steps, beginning with "blocking" which shapes the main facets. This is followed by "brillianteering" where the final facets are added to reveal the diamond's full brilliance and sparkle.
